Social Justice

The distribution of the benefits and the hardships in society, together with the way they are allocated. Geographers are particularly concerned with the spatial expression of social justice; where do the advantaged and disadvantaged groups live, why do they live there, and what is the connection between their place of residence and their future advantage or disadvantage (D. Harvey 1996; D. M. Smith 1994, 2000). Such questions can be asked on global, national, regional, and local scales.

Criminology - A neglected field

The idea of criminology was seeded by academicians and police professionals initially in the form of a master’s programme in public universities, mainly the University of Sindh and the University of Karachi.

Judicial system in Pakistan

Judicial system in PakistanWhen on Earth we will get justice? I am sorry to express these feelings after watching my own father for the last fifteen years until now. Most of the times when he went for hearing the lawyers took another date and then sometimes when the lawyers came on time judge took off that day without informing people in court and without realizing that more than hundred people will suffer from a single absence of him.
One of my relatives are suffering from the last forty years but now he is near seventies and still hope that maybe someday he will get justice and can live at his own home, own property. Who will make policy for courts as well as lawyers and judges? It will remain a prayer that may Allah give them the light of right path. Ameen!
