We've heard of leggings, Jeggings, MaJeggings, Jorts, JorJeggings, and Pajama Jeans, and now, ladies and gentleman, meet Jogg-Jeans. They're jeans you can jog in, because they're actually sweatpants designed to look like denim! How hideous incredibly clever. As Diesel puts it, "Jogg-Jeans are a unique fusion of of design and groundbreaking new fabrics that combine the iconic style and durability of denim with the relaxed attitude and comfort of jogging pants." This attitude and comfort comes at a price though: Jogg-Jeggings range from $195 to $290. (Did we mention they're not real jeans?)

The History of Fashion

The 12th Century

Fashion and costume can be dated all the way back to the 12th Century. In Europe, fashion and costume was simple, men often wore knee length tunics for most activities, and men of the upper class could wear long tunics, with hose and mantles, or cloaks. Women tended to wear very long tunics or gowns, and the women of the upper class wore close-fitting garments, with full skirts and long flaring sleeves, a characteristic that was a trend for both men and women of the era.
